One June 5th a grand bicycle parade took place, organised in co-operation by Tallinn 2011 and Tallinn Bicycle Week. The parade shut down traffic in the town's centre and roads that are normally occupied by cars, were occupied by cyclists who sadly lack proper bicycle routes in the centre of Tallinn. The purpose of this parade was simple - to cycle and make the town aware of the number of cyclists cruising its streets every day. We would like to see our hometown as a peaceful and environment friendly European capital. Tallinn Cycle Chic captured images of chic cyclists and was one of the 500 participants.
